What you do is important and this is why.
Today, I ran across a sweet lady and was able to help her tremendously…for privacy reasons let’s call them Jan and John Doe.
Jan is 67 with no life insurance and was looking for coverage for her only because her husband has coverage already. John is 73 and on a waiting list for a lung transplant. They live on a fixed income so money is tight. Through my verification process, I was able to determine that John has a current policy but the premium will increase an unknown amount in two years, plus it ends at age 90, and life insurance is not their carriers specialty. Jan was told these things wouldn’t happen. I was able to find coverage for both with day one coverage with a level premium that works for their budget with companies that specialize in final expense coverage.
I share this because at first she didn’t want to talk about insurance and thought everything was ok. Since situations like this are far too common, I highly recommend that you get a second opinion before it’s too late. The people who can be affected the most (your spouse, family or loved ones) depend on you to make well informed decisions that can directly impact their financial well being. I can and I will help you.
